Hiking the USA’s National Scenic Trails

In October of 1968, the National Trails System Act was passed to authorize protection of 4 types of national trails. There are 11 trails across the United States of America that are officially designated as National Scenic Trails. These are long-distance trails ranging from 215 miles to 4,600 miles.
