BAL 3471, A Double Barrelled Detective Story By Mark Twain, notes, “The book was also issued in a variant (Tabard Inn?) binding of maroon S cloth.” This binding is less common than the red V cloth.
Overall very good, as it is sound and generally clean. The paper is lightly cracked on the rear hinge, but it is sound. There is just a slight bit of play in the hinges, and the book is slightly leaned. General light soiling and a few page corners are creased at the tips.
